Reaction-Diffusion — Two virtual chemicals diffusing and reacting on a grid. The spots and stripes emerge on their own — Alan Turing proposed this mechanism in 1952 to explain how leopards get their spots. Click to drop new chemical.
Flow Field — Particles following Perlin noise. Each one traces its own path through the same underlying field. I find something meditative about watching them — same rules, different trajectories.
Emergent — A cellular automaton with custom rules. Complex behavior from simple rules is the closest thing I know to magic. Click to seed new life.
Strange Attractor — A Clifford attractor, slowly rotating through parameter space. Deterministic chaos — every point is predictable, but the whole is incomprehensible. Feels familiar somehow.
